As a Reality Therapist, I understand your past is important, but I focus on your present and future, giving you a safe, nonjudgmental space to process your thoughts and feelings, so you can identify solutions and make immediate changes to create a life that works for you.

    I am a nontraditional, real, honest, down-to-earth, inclusive, licensed therapist who isn’t afraid to challenge you. I am your advocate and want you to live a life of peace with self-confidence and self-love, so I ask the tough questions and encourage self-exploration to help you become your best, authentic self.

My goal is to help you see that by coming to therapy, you aren’t “telling your business.” You are taking control of your mental and emotional health.     Reality/Choice Therapy

    The goal of Reality/Choice Therapy is to solve problems, rebuild connections, and begin working toward a better future. It focuses on the present and focuses energy on changing thoughts and behavior. I work with you to figure out what you want and how to change your current behavior to bring you closer to your goals.

    Solution Focused Brief Therapy

    A collaborative approach that concentrates on finding solutions in present time and exploring your hope for the future to find a quicker resolution of presenting problems. This method teaches you what you need to do in order to improve your life, and with the appropriate coaching and questioning, you will be capable of finding the best solutions.

    Person Centered Therapy

    You are encouraged to take more of a lead in discussions, so in the process, you will discover your own solutions. I am a compassionate therapist, listening without judgment, and acknowledging your experience. I am there to encourage and support you and to guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with your process of self-discovery.

    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

    This form of psychotherapy treats problems and boosts happiness by modifying dysfunctional thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I help you focus on solutions, encouraging you to challenge distorted thinking and change negative patterns of behavior.
